Here at UT Southwestern, the complex cases are not reserved only for senior residents. As a CA-1, I was entrusted early on with many challenging cases. From the first day in the operating room, my skill level has increased exponentially. I wanted a program where I could make the most of my residency training and gain as much experience as possible. UT Southwestern has definitely lived up to my expectations." -Jeff Steiner, D.O. | Jeff Steiner, D.O. (CA-3) |
| Benjamin Chang, D.O. (2007 Graduate) | "The learning experience here is exciting, rewarding, and intense…to say the least. UT Southwestern provides a “see it all, do it all” environment on a daily basis. I feel that I have developed a sound knowledge base and I now have the confidence to tackle difficult cases. But just as important as the clinic experience at UT Southwestern are the people I work with daily. Faculty are extremely knowledgeable and provide sound learning points. Our residents and staff have a strong sense of camaraderie. Whether your future will involve working in private practice, academia, or pursuing fellowship training, our program will provide the training necessary to help make your chosen path a reality. Come visit and ask around. I think you’ll be pleased – I know I am." -Ben Chan, D.O | | | | | | | | Goals and Objectives | | To find out more about a particular rotation program, please click on the links below: | | | | | | | To apply for one of our Residency programs please see our Current Applications page. | | |
